 Chris Koval is the driving force behind Future Sounds Disc Jockey Service. His entertainment background began in 1985 in television. He then honed his technical skills through working in radio production and commercial editing as well as being an on air personality for several stations throughout South and Central Texas. Chris also worked in sound and lighting production for several local bands and clubs in the 1990's.

His experience with the wedding industry began in early 1993 and lead to the formation of Future Sounds in 1998. Since that time, Chris has focused primarily on wedding receptions averaging 50 per year but also has fun working with various school events and company functions averaging an additional 40 events per year. Chris is a well-known professional in the mobile entertainment industry specializing in more than playing music; his specialty is providing his clients a complete entertainment experience.

Chris has a B.A. in Technical Communication from U.T.S.A., had recently joined the Masters Program, and manages the U.T.S.A. Digital Signage Network.




Mark Herbert is a San Angelo, Texas native that moved to the San Antonio area in the spring of 2006. Currently, he is a student at U.T.S.A. and is working towards his degree in Real Estate Finance. U.T.S.A. is where Mark and Chris had their chance encounter and the rest is a current work of history in the making.

Mark’s background consists of service in many different fields and for good reason; he likes working with people but loves to make them smile. The combination of having a vast taste in music and true expertise in customer service has brought us together. He has been working with Future Sounds (he refuses to call it work) since early 2007, has already performed for almost 100 events and claims that he has loved every second of it.

With Mark’s attention to detail and background in entertainment and service, you can rest assured that you and your guests will truly have an unforgettable time.




Jason Blassingame began his disc jockey career in 2002 with another San Antonio entertainment company. In 2008, he decided to join Future Sounds. He adds his eagerness for success and outgoing, dynamic personality to the mix of Future Sounds’ entertainers. His clients experience his years of group management as a youth minister and will have great memories . . . nothing short of a momentous occasion.

With a Bachelor of Arts in History, Jason has been exposed to a range of cultures. Additionally, time in the military taught him how to provide efficient and exceptional service. As a child, Jason was very musically inclined. He played a number of instruments ranging from the guitar to the tuba. Learning the classics and standards in his youth, Jason has extraordinary knowledge and appreciation for all types of music including modern day compositions. This exposure leads to a wide array of taste that offers an edge when helping develop a vision for your event.

Jason exudes a love for music. Contagious in any crowd, he fills the room with a sense of excitement blending the perfect mix of music. In 2009, Jason was requested by the Executive Director of the Miss San Antonio Pageant to become the exclusive Coronation Ball DJ and MC. His passion for music and spirited personality will create a memorable gathering and a lasting impression on you and your guests for many years to come.

In October 2009, Jason’s own wedding helped create a new awareness and appreciation for planning a wedding. With a fresh insight, Jason can offer his years of knowledge as an entertainer in addition to his recent personal wedding experience and newlywed status. He has experienced one of the most important days of his life with his new bride. Now, he wants to share that excitement with you.




Robb Perez is a small town guy with aspirations of becoming a successful EMT/paramedic and has recently enrolled in a learning program in hopes of achieving that goal. He’s also a family man with two children and thrives at being a devoted father. He says that is his greatest achievement, family!

He grew up surrounded by many different types of music, from pop to rock to country, and feels he can make any event greater than you can imagine. He has an ear for quality sound to ensure all of your guests feel welcome and everyone has a great time! For your elegant and sophisticated event, Robb is your ideal choice.

Robb has been in the service industry for a number of years and has established a great work ethic. Always striving to meet his clients’ needs and understanding a crowd’s interest, he brings a large knowledge of music and quality sound to the table with a composed personality our clients love. He understands that every moment of your special day is precious and refuses to settle for anything but creating an outstanding event.




We are proud to welcome Dan Ragetté as the newest addition to our Future Sounds entertainer lineup. DJ Dan is equipped with over 11 years of professional production DJ/MC experience and is one of San Antonio's superior wedding performers.

His outgoing personality and passion for performing at weddings creates an environment achieving a unique and rewarding experience for the bride & groom from the on-set of their event planning phase. Dan utilizes his professional knowledge and experience acquired from performing at over 400 weddings to provide insight. He precisely examines and interprets the bride and groom's event vision and delivers a performance exclusively catered to their desires that will be enjoyed and remembered for years to come by all who attend. As a Professional DJ/MC, Dan is well respected amongst the mobile deejay industry as well as the wedding and event planning industry.

Over the course of his DJ career, Dan was also a student working on his undergraduate degree, achieving a BBA in Real Estate Finance & Development from UTSA. Dan is currently a Project Manager working with AT&T Corporate Real Estate and is presently working on his MBA at UIW. His dedication and passion for performing as a DJ provides the energy you need to make your special day a major success!
